The cost of sending crypto to your own wallet

Use the same delivery endpoint and check withdrawal quantities, networks and recipient requirements.

Give “received” a specific location

Buying an asset into an exchange account and obtaining spendable units in an external wallet are different delivery goals. A purchase page showing receipt of 100 units may describe only the account credit. It may not include a later withdrawal's fee or restrictions. Name the destination before comparing costs.

This guide recommends no particular network and promises no transfer outcome. The figures below are hypothetical. Actual asset support, network support and quantity requirements must be checked on both the sending and receiving sides.

Keep the withdrawal amount and net delivery separate

Suppose a purchase credits 100 units to an account. The withdrawal confirmation explicitly shows a fee of one unit and net wallet delivery of 99. With total cash spending of 250, cost per unit delivered to the wallet is 250 divided by 99, approximately 2.5253. Cost measured only to the exchange account is 250 divided by 100, or 2.5.

Some interfaces include a fee within the entered quantity while others deduct it separately. Read the actual net-delivery field before subtracting. After using a net wallet quantity, do not convert the same deducted fee into cash and add it again to spending.

Matching an asset name is not enough

The sending network and the network accepted by the recipient must agree. Where the receiving service requires a memo or tag, that requirement also needs to be met. An address that looks valid does not independently establish the correct network or recipient purpose.

Obtain the requirements from the receiving service's own official interface, then compare them with the sending confirmation. Do not request a supposedly universal deposit address in a public comment, and never send Vexdu a private key or recovery phrase. Recovery after a wrong-network transfer or an omitted required tag depends on the circumstances and relevant services; it must not be assumed.

A minimum can make a cheap-looking route unusable

A low unit cost does not complete your intended delivery if the available quantity is below the withdrawal minimum. Check the minimum, the fee and the actually available balance together. A total balance may include amounts that are not presently available to withdraw.

Buying more to cross a minimum changes both the budget and the quote. For a small intended purchase, “this route cannot deliver the required amount under these conditions” is a valid comparison result. It does not need to become a recommendation to spend more.

Preserve a purchase receipt and a withdrawal receipt

The purchase confirmation describes the amount paid and asset credited. The withdrawal confirmation describes the sending account, network, destination and expected delivery. Keep each record so a later transfer issue does not become a claim that the purchase itself delivered less.

For a hypothetical example, paying 300 credits 120 units to the account. A withdrawal then debits those 120 and explicitly delivers 119 to the wallet. Purchase unit cost is 2.5; wallet-delivery unit cost is approximately 2.5210. The one-unit difference appears at withdrawal, provided those are the actual meanings of the confirmation fields. The final numbers alone do not prove a fee was correctly charged.

If the account had older holdings and you withdrew only some assets, do not automatically use the wallet receipt as the quantity for the whole latest purchase. Define the portion being compared or retain a stated allocation method. The simple calculator does not identify asset lots or determine their accounting treatment.

The entered quantity may mean debit or delivery

One confirmation can ask how much the recipient should receive and then show the larger account debit.

Another can ask for the total debit and deduct its fee from that quantity. Subtracting a fee again from an already net input understates delivery; failing to subtract from a gross input overstates it.

Consider two invented fields. A asks for net delivery of 50 and shows an account debit of 51. An account holding only 50 cannot fund that request. B asks for a debit of 50 and explicitly shows delivery of 49. Both show a one-unit fee, but the input means something different. Read the field name before choosing the arithmetic.

A network transfer amount and a receiving service's final credit may also be separate fields. Any difference needs that service's records. An on-chain success status does not by itself establish that a receiving service has made the amount available.

Build a sender and recipient check before confirming

Compare the asset, network, address source and any required memo or tag. A sender's network list does not establish recipient support. Recipient support does not establish that the sender currently offers that route. Both sides need to match.

Obtain the address from the receiving account or wallet you intend to use and check the pasted result against its source. Checking a few starting characters does not verify the complete address. Follow any verification procedure supplied by the receiving service. This site provides no collection address and cannot certify who controls an unfamiliar address.

A required tag is a separate part of the delivery information. A correct network does not compensate for a missing required tag, and a correct tag does not compensate for a wrong network. If any requirement remains unclear, stop before confirmation. Testing an unknown route is not necessary to complete a cost comparison.

One withdrawal and two withdrawals have different fee counts

If you already intend to withdraw twice, record both account debits and both net deliveries. A per-withdrawal charge can reduce combined delivery relative to a single withdrawal. Use the actual conditions rather than treating one observed fee as permanent across sizes.

Under a hypothetical one-unit deduction from each gross withdrawal, an account with 100 can deliver 99 in one withdrawal, or 98 through two withdrawals of 50. If acquiring those 100 units cost 250, the respective delivery costs are approximately 2.5253 and 2.5510 per unit. Real fees, limits and available routes still need confirmation.

The arithmetic does not decide whether you should hold funds in one place or withdraw immediately. It isolates the cost of the planned number of withdrawals without inventing a custody recommendation.

A small test has both a cost and a limited conclusion

A receiving service may provide an official verification or small-test procedure. Whether you use it should follow its requirements and your own plan. If a test transfer actually occurs, retain its debit, delivery and fee in any calculation meant to include that whole delivery process.

Success confirms that transfer under those conditions. A later change of network, address, receiving account or amount still needs checking. A test does not establish that an unfamiliar recipient is trustworthy or guarantee future platform support. This site does not require a real transfer to use its calculator; unresolved conditions can remain explicitly unverified.

Locate the stage when delivery is not visible

Check the sender's status first. If it has not reported sending, the absence of a network record does not by itself establish a network fault. If a transaction reference is supplied, check it on the corresponding network, then compare the receiving service's own credit conditions.

There is no universal number of minutes or confirmations this guide can promise. Describe the unresolved stage precisely: not yet sent, network state unresolved, or receiving service not yet credited. Repeating a withdrawal creates another record without explaining the previous one. After receipt, use the matching transfer credit rather than the wallet's changing total valuation to verify delivery.

Keep the purchase and network records distinct

A purchase order describes the bought quantity and payment. A withdrawal record describes the platform debit and sending status. A network transaction describes on-chain movement. An order number is not a transaction hash, and internal movements do not necessarily have on-chain records.

If the purchase credit matches but the receiving service has not credited the transfer, keep the withdrawal status, network and transaction reference, then ask the relevant official support channel. Do not buy again to conceal the unexplained gap. Use receipt reconciliation for a completed transaction, or retain unresolved receiving conditions in the total-cost comparison before purchasing.
